Apple Shows Nice Gesture for rMBP Customers Experiencing Delays

The popularity of the new Retina Display MacBook Pro has resulted in significant shipping delays. Apple has taken it upon themselves to go above and beyond to please their customers who are experiencing this setback.

A recent post on a MacRumors forum shows a number of customers who received a free USB Superdrive because of the delay. A few others have also reported Apple throwing in a free Magic Mouse. This is a nice gesture considering the Superdrive is sold for $79 and Magic Mouse for $69 in the Apple Store. It appears Tim Cooke is extending an olive branch to his loyal customers this year!
